As strong as the rail!
Comments:
I needed to hang some mirrors and the pressed rail hooks were not up to it so I gave these a try and am so pleased. They are solid cast metal that will not distort and perfectly shaped to hold the rail properly.
Living my vintage dreams
Comments:
These hooks are gorgeous, sturdy, and exactly as described.
Not happy
Comments:
Oil-rubbed bronze is just black powder coating that got all over my hands and when I tried to see if it fit my picture rail, left black marks on the rail. Disappointing.
Good quality hook
Comments:
Really good quality hooks that are very beautiful.
Wonderful!!
Comments:
I love how these hooks look. They are heavy enough that they stay on the rail when hanging a picture. Other ones from a different supplier, just seem to flip off.
EXCELLENT PICTURE HOOK

This item is very complimentary to our home, and we wish we had found them years ago.
A handsome hook

My pros and cons sum things up
Artwork on display

I have a unique needlepoint design which required double sided framing, side hanging and a special hanger and not just a nail in the wall. I designed a large tree which can be viewed from either side and I wanted a method of displaying it that was unique and would compliment the work. Enter the House of Antiques and their design of a bronze Art Nouveau Picture Rail Hook. Two hooks on a bronze curtain rod allow for switching the picture from one side to the other at will, which is exactly what I wanted. The hooks are strong, of a clean design, simple yet elegant. I was able to find a bronze curtain rod and it completes the look I had envisioned. Thank you House of Antiques for your attention to detailed design. Photos of my work were previously submitted.
Lovely and strong

Works perfectly just as intended.
Beautiful and work well

We renonovated a 1910 house and these picture hanging hardware pieces worked perfectly with the house's existing picture molding. No need to risk screwing or nailing into the plaster. Some of the artwork we hung was heavy and the hardware holds well.
