Eastlake Style Twist Door Bell In Solid Brass

This bell is period-perfect. The beautiful bell sound is amazing, strong, and effective. The unit was very easy to install and certainly a lot less complex than running wiring for an electronic bell on this old 1880s building. I could not be happier. Another quality item from this supplier

My late brick victorian sported some very nice original features. One in particular was an original mechanical door bell. The only piece that survived, however was the mechanical structure inside the door. No bell cover, no turn key .....a big problem. I looked about for an antique door bell, but to no avail and searched the internet. The bell you offer totally worked. It is very impressive looking and design wise blends nicely with the original door hardware. It works great as I wondered how well we would hear it while upstairs. You definitely hear it , which is just what we wanted and the price on this bell is super fair.

Thank you! We now have the best looking Victorian doorbell on our historic block in Galveston. The design and detail are beautiful! My husband did have to do some extra drilling with a larger bit to get the turn key to lay flat against the door... But he did great and the doorbell works great too!

I purchased two items to compare quality and found that the lower priced items had the same or better quality. I then decided to purchase addition brass twist bells for the bedrooms in the guest house. They work quite well and add an accent to each of the guest room doors. The more expense was installed on the front door.
