Looks great and adds a great Victorian accent that's unexpected.
LOOKS GREAT SOUNDS DULL
Comments:
This bell was purchased to replace the twist bell on my 1890 home...IT looks very nice ornate etc easy to install UNFORT the bell has NO WEIGHTY MEATY sound to it .the material used is thin HENCE a VERY tinny and Whispy bell sound and also seems to not quite strike the inside with each and every twist of handle
Looks Great But Doesn't Work
Comments:
After just two turns the knob jammed. When I removed it from the door, I discovered the gear assembly fell apart. The bell and knob are beautiful, but my experience is it was not meant to be used.
Looks Great RINGS Hollow!
Comments:
THIS twist door bell ringer has all the good looks of an antique ringer without the material that made an original sound so unique. Unfortunately the metal used to craft this bell has a very tinny and hollow sound to it and therefore does not carry a weighty sound as a visitor announcement.
Looks great, rough on the turns.
Comments:
Looks fantastic, but the key is rough to turn and therefore the sound isn't as clear as one might hope. It looks beautiful though.
Love everything but the spindle is way t
Comments:
if you don't supply the longer spindle choices, at least provide a source. Adding stuff in the middle of a cut spindle is not adequate.
Love the authentic look

This brass ringer on my RED front door. Smashing!!! And what nostalgia. The house was built in 1990. I placed it where the peep hole goes so I can take it with me to my next home and replace the peep hole in this door. Love the sound.
Loving my antique look door bell!

My husband & I purchased a home built in the 30s. It would have been costly to install a wired door bell, and we did not like the look of the wireless door bell buttons; we wanted something ornate in design. A friend told us about the twist door bells and we were excited to hear of them and immediately began searching the internet. I found this site and ordered the Eastlake Style twist door bell and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Its beautiful in construction & the sound can be heard thoughout our home. It's perfect. And great conversation piece!
