Old Fashioned Coat Hooks

Antique Coat Tree Hooks

Comments:

Needing to replace 3 of the 4 decorative hooks on a coat tree, I was thrilled to find the exact replication product at House of Antique Hardware. Installation was pain free as the product and holes matched exactly. Couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Nice hook with poor mounting screws

Comments:

This hook has a nice design. I expected a good quality product for this price. The hook is very nice. However, the mounting screws are junk. First they are slotted screws. Second the slot is poorly made and the screwdriver blade will not remain engaged. I had to go buy replacement screws and spray paint them black to match. If you like the design of this hook, then go for it. But be warned that the screws will need to be replaced with better quality ones.

Acorn coat hooks

Comments:

The provided screws would have gone right through my doors and I wanted these as back-of-door hooks in most cases. Had to shop for better screws. The acorns are kinda flat; I would have liked them to be spherical.

Love my new hooks

Comments:

I was pleased with my purchase, timing and happy to finish my project.

crooked coat hooks

Comments:

Overall product is a good representation of the original design way back when..but the cast that the hooks or poured into are crooked, so the finished product leans 'to the south' on the board. This could be remedied by insisting that the manufacturer use better quality control.

Added Ambience

Comments:

I have a small letterpress printing studio, most of the material dated from the late 1920s. The coat hooks I bought added a visual aesthetic to the printing studio.

cast iron hooks

Comments:

This product is so equal to the originals the only way to tell them apart is the new paint.

Just ok....

Comments:

They are nice enough, but not unique and don't make a statement. However, if you're looking for delicate and simple - they would work.

Perfect little acorn

Comments:

I bought eight, screwed them in a piece of wood and use as a curtains hanger with curtains rings, very unique results.
