Clean and better made then other similar products we used.
Comments:
We use this model in antique reproductions, and in restoration projects.
Perfict fit
Comments:
The lock was a replacement for a lock which had broken. The antique secretary is very old and parts seemed impossible to find. The owner was very pleased with the replacement. I was happy to find your company as I could find nothing to replace the oroginal lock.
Replacement lock and keys
Comments:
Bought to replace broken locks on very old oak chest of drawers. Was exact size and shape as original. Perfect fit. I bought additional becasue price of key alone was almost the same price as both together.

curio cabinet lock
Comments:
I inherited my mothers curio cabinet years ago. When the lock/ latch refused to work, I thought that I would never find a replacement. The set that I purchased matched very well and looks original to the piece. The reasonable pricing and fast shipping were also a plus.
Buy to keep original look

recieved in a timely manner
Too small for the task
Comments:
This is way too small to be used as an armoire door latch. I also don't see a good way to mount this latch since it has only one very small hole which is less than a half inch from the key hole.
Looks & performs like the original!

I repair and refinish antique wood furniture and since I recently found House of Antique Hardware, it is my new 'go to' site for my projects! They have a great selection, reasonable prices, & accurate copies of original hardware! Plus fast shipping, thanks for helping me complete my projects faster & historically accurate!
handy dandy curio lock
Comments:
I had to put a lock on my wife's curio cabinet. I should of used the half mortise, but didn't want to wait for it to be back ordered, so I bought the full mortise. Worked out fine, with a little ingenuity.
