Inspired by an ornate gilt picture frame, this exquisite, late Victorian-era design features lavish scroll patterns, classic egg border, and acanthus corners. Precision forged in solid brass, it is beautifully detailed and incredibly substantial. Suited for restorations or new construction, this decorative plate adds a touch of understated luxury to any interior.

Great look for my older home.

Comments:

These are a high quality product and they look great. Some of the outlets in my house need a little clean-up around the edges, so the fit is not always 100%. I don't like perfect matches throughout the house, so I mix these with some of the others listed on the site (ex. Filigree Single-Duplex Cover Plate). Between the two types that I purchased, they go great and play off of one another. I'll continue to clean up my outlets so that I can have the rooms common in design with a great fit.

It's the small details that can make a room extraordinary

Perfect touch

Replaced my old plastic switch plates with these gorgeous antique look metal plates and couldn't be happier. It really makes a statement and it brings this old 1924 home back to her glory days.

Would not work for me

This is a beautiful cover plate. It did not however work for me. The back of the plate is flush unlike the plastic cover plates that are hollowed out slightly. The ears of my receptacles sit over the plaster on my outlet boxes and when these covers were attached the plate stood about 1/8 inch from the wall. There was no way to get the plate to lay flat on the wall. To use these be sure the plate can lay flush on the wall. If that is the case, they are very nice.
