Inspired by an ornate gilt picture frame, this exquisite, late Victorian-era design features lavish scroll patterns, classic egg border, and acanthus corners. Precision forged in solid brass, it is beautifully detailed and incredibly substantial. Suited for restorations or new construction, this decorative plate adds a touch of understated luxury to any interior.

Brings Back Memories

This is a solid, heavy piece that reminds me of the heavy brass fixtures that were in an old home that my aunt and uncle once owned. It adds a touch of elegance to the dining room that the regular plastic switch plate could never duplicate.

My only regret is that I did not buy more!

I'm both a home-owner and a landlord. I love bringing original flavor back early 20th century middle and upper middle class buildings. I've bought a LOT of push button switch-plates from various places (including many varieties House of Antique Hardware). These are some of my absolute favorites (in un-lacquered brass). HOAH is also my favorite company for light switches and plates. (Now if only they'd make a z-wave/zigbee switch!)
