Description

New York style strap hinges are one of the most stylish and practical ways of hanging your shutters. This set of four hinges has a 1 1/4" offset (2 1/2" throw), which is ideal for most wood framed houses. Hand forged from heavy duty steel, they're galvanized and powder coated to resist rust. Includes stainless steel screws which are black zinc plated to match hardware.

Dimensions. Strap: 4 1/4" H x 5 1/8" W. Thickness: 1/8". Offset: 1 1/4" (from back of strap to center of pintle). Throw: 2 1/2". Mounting plate: 3 1/2" H x 1 1/4" W x 1/8" thick. pintle rod: 3/8" diameter.

Hardware Tip

For best performance and to prevent rust, iron and steel hardware should be regularly maintained. After installation check for scratches or chips in the surface and re-coat periodically as needed.
