Good Quality but Arrived Very Tarnished
Comments:
The product is decent quality but seems overpriced. Also, I was very disappointed when all 24 I ordered arrived EXTREMELY tarnished. I had to spend time scrubbing all of them heavily with Brasso to make them look like the photo on the website. I attached a before/after photo, showing how it arrived vs. after Brasso. I understand the metal is subject to tarnishing, but I didn't expect the product to arrive looking like it had been stashed in someone's backyard shed for 10 years.
Perfect little addition

The perfect little detail to add character to our house! And affordable and easy to install!
Very nice but cheap quality

These look nice from afar. No one is really studying the corners of your stairwell to see if you've installed quality dust corners, but they are cheaply made. So, get them, yes, but know what you're getting.
I just placed my third order for more cool accesories.

We were at a friends house and they had dust corners on their stairs which I just loved. We recently purchased a log home so we bought about 25 of the decorative brass corners for the set of stairs going up to the loft. They look so cool and also make cleaning easlier as the dust doesn't get stuck in the corners. We are now going to refiinish our steps going down to the basement. Although it is unfinished and not many people will see them, we just think the dust corners add that finishing touch to our home so we bought another 25. The finish looks so rich and goes so well with the knotty pine steps we have. We have also had company ask about them as they thought they were really attractive. I have referred the House of Antque hardware to many of our friends. We just recenlty placed a big order for switch plate covers. There are just shy of 80 outlet, switch plates, toggles and jack covers in this house. They add so much class to our house. It is well worth the money we spent. Have talked to Eva and the other staff at House of Antique hardware a few times. They are very helpful and friendly. Nice that we got free delivery and also lucked into a nice discount on our last big order. Items ship pretty quick. Been looking at the website to see what else we can add to our log home to bring out more character. Hope I win the $1,000 prize as I wouldn't have a problem spending it there! Thanks so much for being there and having such cool hardware. Keep up the good work!!!
Loving the look of these!

I own a 1906 Craftsman home and added these brass dust corners to the steps on my staircase. I think I just added $50,000 in equity to my home with this look!
A Great Find!

Unique! Looks great. Looks expensive. A great addition for an old (or maybe not so old) house.
Decorative brass dust corners for stairs.

Driving a nail into 100 year old hardwood stairs was a problem I replaced the nail with #6 screws 1.5"" long and will touch up the screw heads with gold paint . This will allow easy removal and replacement if stairs need painting or sanding.
Does what I want

It was a little difficult to mail due to the angle. The finish chipped on several. Also there is a black residue off of the product. Not really high quality but good for the price.
Great way to add a ""finishing touch"" to stairs!

These are a relatively affordable way to dress up an old staircase, especially a Victorian one. On a staircase, these look bigger than I would have imagined when seeing them just out of the package. They definitely draw attention, but not in a distracting way. Nice design and super easy installation. They are on the thin side, but not so thin as to look cheap. These are the kind of ""fun"" accents that give Victorian architecture its playful charm.
2nd time around

I purchased a few of these 20 years ago and am now looking to replace them. Only because after 20 years they have lost their luster. They are practical and beautiful to look at. I get why when these were used for hired housekeepers to clean our homes, they save having to dig out crumbs or dust from the corners of the steps. I can Swiffer my wood stairs in no time and they are a very nice touch to an otherwise boring stairwell. Get them if you can. A little expensive if you have to purchase 23 or more, but it's 20 years and worth it.
