Installed at the juncture of the tread, riser and skirt board, these "dust corners" make cleaning your stairs a snap (gently nailed into place, they create a smooth, concave corner). First used in the Victorian era, they are still a pracitcal and elegant accent to your staircase. Made of stamped brass with your choice of 6 finishes. The corners measure 2 3/4" from point to point.

Pretty cool

Comments:

These look very cool; not as flashy as I'd originally hoped but still really added to my rainbow-painted stairway! The center nail is very difficult to install since there's no good way to get a hammer into a stair corner! Screws (while not true to antique installation methods) could have been way easier

Reminds me of my much older family relations

Comments:

Our house is 100 yr young Victorian. Always amazed when people walk up the foyer staircase, these are the 1st things that catches their eye and do not have any idea what they are or way it's placed in the corner of the treads. Tell them and they're WOW! Yep, people really knew what to do to help making housekeeping easier when open windows were used for God's A/C.

Exact match to originals in home

Comments:

We recently purchased a beautiful Victorian home with large staircase that turns as it goes up. We noticed the visible stairs had dust covers similar to these and decided to add additional to the remaining stairs up the corner. We figured it wouldn't matter if these didn't look exactly the same, but they are an exact match in shape a design to our original ones. The only difference is the older ones have a bit of age on them. I was very pleased that the replacements are such an excellent fit!

A way to add a special touch to the staircase

Comments:

Added these to our staircase. Look great with antique brass bars

Dust Corners: A Revalation!

Comments:

I was so nervous to install these, I literally waited years! Today was the day and I realized it was easier than I thought to install them symmetrically. These dust corners are gorgeous and they add a polished aesthetic to the stairs. As well, after installing a few I got a feel for their utility. They literally prevent even a tiny speck of dust from accumulating in the corners. This is a revelation since I bought them purely to dress up the stairs (which, they do!)

Jewelry for the staircase

Comments:

I was so happy to find these. They were easy to install, and they give my staircase an attractive, finished look, while keeping the dust bunnies from accumulating in the corners.

Beautiful addition to old home restoration

Comments:

These corner dust cover are one of the best item for our restoration project. Really not just for stairs, they look amazing on all visible corners of the house producing a neat decorative corner especially on wood flooring.

This is a great product

Comments:

These dust corners really add a great detail to the redone wooden staircase. Really unique and a conversation piece.

Just like in the Old West

Comments:

Recently visited an old mansion built in the 1800s by the widow a a certain rifle manufacturer. These corner dust guards were on all the stairs!
