Reproduced from a circa 1900 original, this handsome half-surface hinge is a House of Antique Hardware exclusive. Authentic to the last detail, it features a loose pin and slotted ball tips. Beautifully made from solid, extruded brass.

This top quality, forged brass hinge is commonly used for installing a wood screen door within an existing frame. The narrow leaf is mortised into the jamb, while the broad leaf is surface mounted to the face of the door (hence the name half-mortise or half-surface). It also works on light weight interior doors.
