Description
This top quality, forged brass hinge is commonly used for installing a wood screen door within an existing frame. The narrow leaf is mortised into the jamb, while the broad leaf is surface mounted to the face of the door (hence the name half-mortise or half-surface). It also works on light weight interior doors. Exceptional Quality

This hinge is of exceptional design and finish quality. Note that the description does not state if the pin is removeable. It is removeable. There is an end cap on each end of the hinge barrel. These are threaded into the end knuckles. Unscrew the cap, insert a rod, and tap the pin out.

I did need to turn the offset side of the hinge over to make it work with the way this door was hung. It would be helpful to others not to have to figure this out, but to have it as an option in the directions
