Solid Brass Ornate Keyhole Cover

We have lovely, original door hardware (hinges, knobs, hand plates) in our home but sometime over the past 120 years the covers for our thumb-locks disappeared. The holes are small, but the lack of a cover always bothered us. While these are not thumb-lock covers, they fit the bill nicely and finish off the look of our doors. I plan to order more soon!

I installed a 15 pane door in the dinning room of my home that was built in 1900. I outlined the keyhole and painted the stained wood black behind this keyhole. I was extremly pleased as it matched the existing french doors that are in another wall. It actually looks functional.
