Solid Brass Century Rim Lock Set with White Porcelain Knobs

I absolutely LOVE this product! I bought 2 sets 2 years ago when I DIY remodeled my lower level of my house and ended up loving them SO MUCH, I just recently purchased 4 more sets to finish the upstairs of my house. Pro Tip From a Not-Pro: I flipped them around and used the decretive flat on the outside of the door where more people would see it, rather then on the inside of the door (how it's meant to be). In doing this, mind you, you will loose secure locking capabilities in the rim lock itself, HOWEVER, to remedy that, I simply added a latch to the bedrooms and bathrooms I did want to make sure would lock and also left the key inside the room it was in, in case someone thought it'd be funny to lock one in a room - I don't have mischievous guests or family, so that is not a issue for us. But none the less a precaution to take should you flip them like I did. They are beautiful and elegant and classic. Everyone who has seen my remodel ALWAYS first comments on the white porcelain with antique brass rim locks.

Using them to replace the original locks in a vintage restoration. My contractors were blown away by the quality and value. I ordered two to see what they looked like, but will be coming back for more to complete the house.
