Cast Iron Century Rim Lock Set with White Porcelain Knobs
Description
The elegant design of this circa 1900 cast iron rim lock set, with its delightful "C-20" motif, commemorates the beginning of the 20th century. This historic reproduction features gleaming white porcelain knobs, as well as a cast iron rosette, keyhole and skeleton keys. The case and matching trim are solid cast iron available in two vintage finishes. Heavy-duty interior parts ensure smooth operation and lasting performance. In addition to the key-operated dead bolt, there is a handy privacy lock (sliding tab on bottom of case). Easily reversible for right or left handed doors.
Dimensions: Lock body: 4 1/8" W x 3 1/4" H x 3/4" Thick. Keeper: 15/16" W x 3 1/4" H x 3/4" Thick. Knobs: 2 3/8" Diameter. Rosette: 2" Diameter. Keyhole cover: 1 3/4" H x 1" W. Backset: 3".
Door Thickness: 1" to 1 3/4". Spindles: Includes 3 1/2" & 4" lengths both 20 TPI and 9/32" W. Use 3 1/2" spindle for 1" to 1 1/2" thick doors, use 4" for 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" thick. Includes an Allen wrench and set screws for mounting knobs to spindle.
