Lancaster Door Bell Button In Forged Brass

The brass floret is beautiful and is high quality. The button mechanism is another story. It is made in two parts and the plastic hooks that hold them together are fragile. Needless to say, I had to cement the two pieces together after I unscrewed the excessively tight terminal screws. This happened on both buttons I purchased. In the end they are beautiful and work well but if the bulbs ever go out in the button, I'll never be able to change it.

Great product improves my doorway greatly

Beautiful and just the right size for 4"" siding!

The doorbell is attractive, well-made, and heavy. The item description stated that it is surface mount. The doorbell is not. The electrical post extends beyond the back of the casing requiring that a 5/8"" hole be drilled into the mounting surface. In my case the electrician ($90) did not mount the casing fully and cleanly to the surface. I then went back and chiseled out, of the brick, a hole to correctly accommodate the electrical connection. This did cause a problem because it is a replacement doorbell. The electrical wires ran under the cement between bricks and drilling a hole could cause electrical shorts or damaged wires. The mounting screws are another problem because they don't tighten level with the fluted surface. I question if they are made and finished to the standard of the doorbell casing.

We just installed a replica, Solid brass illuminated doorbell. Beautiful! The quality blew us and our client away! I have not found this quality or unique style anywhere else. I will use you again and recommend you to friends and customers.

Lovely looking, nice weight, very pleased with the embossed pattern on the metal. A little dissapointed with the plastic button but otherwise perfect!
