Just like the matching wall outlet plates, nothing but positive things to say about these switch plates. Even more enthused about these since they are easier to spot in a room. Like the extra height on this design, makes it more vintage looking and period correct. The heavy weight, beautiful finish, design, casting, everything clocked just right in our 1845 Greek Revival. Couldn't be happier. I try to buy most everything locally, but must say that this first time purchase with this company was a very pleasant experience. Shipping was timely, product was packaged well, and the order was just right. I'll be back for more as the budget allows.

I ordered one with a push-button switch for the hall of my 1882 Victorian Farmhouse. It's a very substantial piece of brass. I was a little worried about the design since many decorative switch plates look cheesy. I'm very happy though. Though it's big, it's not gaudy. I just ordered several more for the sitting room I'm refinishing. Almost forgot.. because they're big, they're forgiving of the quality of your plaster around your electrical boxes. I just retrofitted a light switch in and it's nice not having to worry about everything being as clean as new construction.

We got these plats and the matching outlet plates for our dining room. We are thrilled with the purchase. Yes, it cost [$] for the room, which I think is a lot for switch plates, but they really give the authentic look. I'd definitely buy them again. They don't look like reproductions, they look like they've been in our house since 1907 when it got electricity! We used these in a French themed decor and the design fits in perfectly.

Once again, another great purchase from House of antique hardware. It is exactly as shown, looks extremely authentic; I have had a lot of compliments.

We have built a new house but wanted to inject a Craftsman feel. These light switches and plates are a key feature of that look and everyone who comes to our house comments on them. We love them!

I like this plate it is pretty and unique

Extremely well made and unusual switch plate cover. Using them in all rooms of my 200 year old house for that high end, looks like it has been there forever look. Works great with reproduction push button dimmers for a safe historic looks. Only negative is that you need an electrical box that is flush or subflush to your wall for this to sit correctly on your wall and not rock. Thinking about switching all my outlet covers too, but many more of them then switches! Will still be worth it for the complete look!

This product was exactly what i was looking for and once received and installed, looks even more beautiful then i had imagined.

We have bought light switches for other rooms in our home but this one was for a more formal room and we had resevations. It is perfect. The finsihing touch for our room.
