These decorative switchplates look wonderful in my historic home. Your eye lingers on them only because they are lovely, not because they look out of place or inappropriately modern.

I initially just bought these for one room as it starts to add up when you start counting how many you really need. In the end, I bit the bullet and did my whole house (minus bathrooms and kitchen, those are porcelain ) in these one. They are hand finished and my o' my, they make my beautiful 1931 girl look amazing. I was replacing cheap brass ones that the previous owner had used (ick). The only plate that didn't work for me very sadly is the Lewis button switch plate, my old plates have one of the buttons built in to them so this would not work for me. I kept those as originals. I couldn't be happier with my choice
