Solid Brass Left Hand Offset Ice Box Latch
Description
Solid brass left hand ice box latch available in unlacquered brass or polished nickel. Offset by 3/8" the lever measures 3 1/4" long and the base measures 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide with the catch being 3/4" wide. This is a left hand latch and is designed to be placed on the right side of the door.
Hardware Tip
Offset means that the surface of the cabinet door projects out from the cabinet frame, usually 3/8" or 1/2". Offset hinges and latches are surface mounted to the door and the frame of the cabinet.

I finally purchased these latches from house of antique hardware after trying to seperate time from Van Dkyes. First they didnt have the exact latches I wanted, so I settled from a different latch, but had extremely poor quality. The ones from House of Antiques were exactly what I wanted, and will continue to shop here as a result.
