Description

Introduced by Yale & Town around 1910 as part of their popular Flemish Renaissance line, the "Largo" is every bit as appealing today. With its oval knobs, elegant scrollwork, and lush, classical foliage, this lovely mortise door set compliments every formal decor. A high quality, mortise lock with two skeleton keys provides trouble-free performance and privacy. Finely crafted from solid, forged brass, the "Largo" door set will give you a lifetime of beauty and enjoyment.

Door set dimensions: Oval doorknobs measure 2 3/4" H x 1 3/4" W. Back plates are 8 1/4" H x 2 3/4" W.

Mortise lock dimensions: Backset is 2 1/4". Lock case: 4" H x 3" W x 5/8" thick. Lock face plate: 6" H x 7/8" W. Strike plate: 4" H x 7/8" W. Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick.

Don't open the door

Comments:

My doors were refinished to there natural wood finish and the door knobs were cheap looking and did not fit properly. The screws used to hold the knobs to the rods were ineffective and/or stripped. The overall performance of the product was wobblely and unsturdy.

The Return of BEAUTY
