Just what was needed to lock French doors.

When I ordered the latches I was nervous about what they would look like compared to the picture online, being that we ordered them to replace our customers existing latch. When I got them they were flawless and easy to install!

We used these on our set for a TV show, and they look fantastic.

To secure double french doors

Adding a slide bolt to any door enhances the look

Great product for latching the pair of French doors into our sunroom. The only challenge to me is crafting a spot for the latch to slide up into that is secure (the interior of the door is flush with the door frame, making the door casing only spot for the latch to go, and that's not very strong).

This is a quality piece of hardware. The brass finish is beautiful and works with our existing doorknobs, hinges, etc. I used this 18"" surface door bolt on our 9' back door, which is slightly warped at the top. The bolt works well for added security as there are three substantial brackets to mount it. There is no need to find a step stool to engage this 18"" bolt, either. I couldn't be happier!

To secure front door

I had a new pair of gorgeous French doors on the front of a house I was renovating and didn't want to ruin the beauty of them with an ugly lock but they needed more security. I searched through dozens if not more websites and finally decided on this surface bolt and it looks and works exactly as I had hoped.
