Description
This set is designed for use on wood screen doors between 7/8" and 1 3/8" thick. The backset is 1 3/4".
Dimensions: Backplates - 4" H x 1 3/8" W. Exterior Knob - 1 7/8" diameter x 2 1/8" projection. Interior Lever - 2 1/8" long x 2 1/8" projection. Tube Latch - 2 5/8" long x 5/8" diameter.

Broke after about 2 years

Worked well for about a year then the internal mechanism broke, locking the door permanently. Had to disassemble to get the door open, thankfully I had a key for the back door.

Don't work well

These handles just don't work very well, they keep loosening up when I turn them, and leave me struggling to get the door open. They look great, I just have to keep getting my screwdriver out to adjust them, which is a hassle. On the plus side, they lock very securely.

My house was built in 1933 and has 4 storm doors/entrances with storm doors. I recently had 2 of those created by one of the top door craftsmen on the east coast, who happens to be an hour and a half away, creating them from single sourced African mahogany. These heavy doors are beautiful but needed better hardware than offered from the door maker. After an exhaustive search, I came across these and could NOT be more pleased with how they look, feel and perform..

I purchased this screen door set to put on an old wooden screen door my husband refinished. We were replacing all the other screen doors, but for some reason I loved this old one. I am so happy that we did. I looks wonderful and it is in keeping with the charm of my 1953 Cape Cod. I plan on getting exterior lighting from this company next.

Great screen door latch - poor finish quality

The latch is a really nice design and goes well with our new wooden screen door. However, after only a few weeks, the finish on the (outdoor) know started to peel! It's now about 2mm diameter. Not a great start :(

To save a few dollars, I ordered this model. It looks fine (or did at first) but I have been disappointed in its quality since I installed it. The finish has not been durable, and the handle mechanism does not function well.

My son custom made a bifold door for a passage between my bedroom and livingroom. All the 20 years here, did not have a door on it. He made it to look like a pair of French doors but since we didn't have room to make it open as a solid door, put an articulation in it. The problem was, that the edge of the door was narrow compared to a normal door. I needed a short distance set back. So I used the hardware for a screen door. The sizing was perfect and both door and hardware match the rest of our 1920s house. We will be a regular customer to this site.
