This set is designed for use on wood screen doors between 7/8" and 1 3/8" thick. The backset is 1 3/4".
Dimensions: Backplates - 4" H x 1 3/8" W. Exterior Knob - 1 7/8" diameter x 2 1/8" projection. Interior Lever - 2 1/8" long x 2 1/8" projection. Tube Latch - 2 5/8" long x 5/8" diameter.

Simple but nice
Comments:
Used two of these on the 100-year-old screen doors of a French-colonial style limestone-veneer villa. The old hardware was different and the door frame was cracked and damage from time. The tubular construction of this doorknob made it possible for me to repair (glue,fill,replace) the damaged wood on the door frame and install the new hardware without damaging the structural integrity of the new repair. Also, the price is nice.
Screen Door Entry Latches are a Hit!

I am a contractor who does custom carpentry projects from time to time. Every now and then we build custom screen doors for our clients and we only use these latches. They are made by Deltana, which is a great brand for door handles and accessories. If you are accustomed to drilling holes for doors or other hardware, then these are simple to install. The holes just have to be lined up close to perfect otherwise the handles will tend to stick. If this happens, the handles can be loosened just a little and you can spray the inner mechanism with lubricant. Afterward, you will have a product that people will ask about!
Unhappy with quality.

The product looked nice and seemed to be exactly what we wanted for our Victorian screen doors. Our contractor installed the knob/handle sets on two doors, and initially they worked fine. However, it wasn't long before the handles started malfunctioning. They were loose, constantly needing to be tightened. Then for some unknown reason one of them completely froze up. At that point we had had enough of adjusting them and replaced them with a sturdier type of handle/latch. I would not recommend this product.
Don't work well

These handles just don't work very well, they keep loosening up when I turn them, and leave me struggling to get the door open. They look great, I just have to keep getting my screwdriver out to adjust them, which is a hassle. On the plus side, they lock very securely.
Perfect door handle

I was thrilled to find a door handle that looks like it belongs to my 1890s house. The finish was beautiful and it functions perfectly. Installation was easy.
