After looking high and low for a replacement lock set for a ""storm door"" voila !!! found the exact set at House of Antique Hardware

Classic Rosette Screen Door Latch Set

Comments:

I needed to replace an existing door latch for my wooden storm door. I looked around at the box stores and found nothing. I searched the internet and came across the House of Antique Hardware site. I was pleasantly surprised to find an ""exact"" match to replace this door latch. It is a distinctive brass set, excellent quality and was simple to install. I couldn't be more pleased. The package arrived promptly and within 20 minutes, I had the new latch installed. I am a big fan on this company. Thank you! https://www.houseofantiquehardware.com/Classic-Rosette-Screen-Door-Latch-Set

Drop in replacement

Comments:

Nice bit of door hardware. Drop in replacement for the existing latch that was worn past use. I considered replacing just the worn components from the new set but instead replaced the entire latch. Easy, fast, looks great and now the mail carrier is happy as the storm door opens easily to access the mail slot! Only downside was the delivery was a few days longer than expected. Now that I know I will come back to the site to purchase additional hardware for my 130 year old house.

Everything was just what I wanted except it wouldn't fit.

Comments:

Everything was perfect except it didn't fit into my present screen door and I mailed it back to you.

Exactly as ordered, good quality

Comments:

The two products were exactly as expected. One was an identical replacement, second was new. Good quality, all parts were included.

Far superior to our original handle

Comments:

Our original handle set was one more of a latch-like system that didn't use a bolt and strike plate. It was horrible. We got this one to ensure the door would close and stay latched. So far, it's great.

Great for screen doors

Comments:

I installed this to replace existing one. The brass held up well in salt water environment. This house is right on the gulf here in FL. The steel corroded in side from constant salt air, but brass just tarnished. This time in installed with anti-corrosion grease.

Great screen door latch

Comments:

This product was used on an old fashion wood screen door . Looks great

Horrible finish. Chips and scratches off within weeks!

Comments:

I bought the black matte finish. It is not a strong finish at all. I was expecting something along the lines of a powder coated finish, but the paint scratches off in a few weeks to reveal a brass knob. So disappointed!

I would buy this again ...

Comments:

It's exactly the piece I needed. I worry that it might have the same problems as the one I'm replacing, that in a year or so it will start to catch. We'll see.
