Cast Iron Thumb-Latch Set

Excellent!!

Needed to replace a similar (original) latch. This looks fantastic but the instructions were complicated (for me) and Im not sure I did it correctly. It works, but not great. The range of motion on the latch seems to be VERY small -- seems like it should move more. But it could be me.

Easy to instal. Great price. Came quickly. Fit like a dream.

The new Thumb-Latch Set almost matches perfectly with the 100+ year old thumb-latch set that I'm replacing it with; without having to remove many coats of paint.

I reworked two gates for customer and bought your gate hardware. Both sets of hardware work well except one piece was malformed in the casting. When I screwed Peace into place snapped in half. I temporarily rigged it to work and I have been meaning to contact you folks to get a new part.

I was very pleased to see the Color , detail , & material used to make this item . It was pleasure to install this original replacement part .the look is so perfect that my wife wants me to change the rest of the thumb latches in our home to match . So I'll be a steady customer from now on with other projects that come up to improve the look of our turn of the century home , including the push button light switches . Thank you .

Product worked great. I had a similar latch on a different door in my house. This was a perfect match and installed with ease. I built the doors from two layers of 1""x6"" pine board. With one 3/4"" drilled hole and some screws it went in perfectly. Door closes with ease and is secure when lock is activated.
