Cast Iron Thumb-Latch Set

Ordered three thumb latch handles. Had issues with one and customer service helped me very effectively with the issues... From the US to Canada. Very satisfied with product and also with the outstanding customer service. I do recommend the product and the company.

I've spent the last 11 months restoring a derelict 200-year old Inn in Cornwall, Ontario. House of Antique Hardware has been a great source for hard to find hardware that is missing. Shipping is prompt and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone involved in a similar project.

We wanted something different from the standard door knob for our interior doors that we are building and installing. We both remembered the old-style thumb latches in our grandparents homes but couldn't locate any locally. We found these on-line and tried one and we were very pleased with the look and ease of installation. They aren't cheap but we wanted quality and authenticity above all else. These latches are an excellent value in our opinion; we've gotten four more (installed three of them) and will very likely order more as we continue building out our interior rooms.

Very pleased with the product.

Sadly, I purchased a too-short latch, and it will not work on my door. Good in a way since it is an oddly complicated item. Too expensive to return, so will hopefully use elsewhere.

Beautiful door handle for the door we made.

Needed a simple but antique in appearance latch for little used bead board door to basement. Worked fine although screws were a bit longer than door's thickness.

Can't tell the difference between this reproduction and the original hardware on the doors
