'quality' of how latch set operates

Comments:

Puzzling that the thumb piece 'jiggles'.....NONE of the other comparable hardware in Fletcher Tavern move at all.

authentic latch set

Comments:

I have a 1920 vintage log cabin and this latch set matches perfectly with the originals in my cabin

Fairly easy installation

Comments:

I wish the instructions would make a note or highlight the fact that the inside door plate ( with the rectangular hole) should show that the longer portion goes up. I have more problems with that than any thing else regarding the installation. Otherwise I really like your products.

great handle not easily found

Comments:

I searched local and chain stores for this type handle latch and found none. Many on line stores didn""t carry product or was by far over priced. Your product was exactly what I wanted for an excellent price. We are retoring our home with new barn type door in oak with new hardware like original that is very old and worn out. Thanks for your web site.

Iron spade rim latch

Comments:

Our house was built in the late 1960's. We were pleased to be able to replace our front door hardware with a reproduction that was exactly like the original.

Perfect for any antique home

Comments:

The perfect replacement harware for our renovated Kitchen and hall. Our house was built arounf 1790 and they look like they just came from the blacksmith's shop

Rim Latch for my new shed

Comments:

Purchased the rim latch for the door on my custom built 10'x12'shed. It provided an antique effect on the board and batten wainscot door. The directions were a little skimpy and the latch didn't work at first. A call to the ""House"" got me the # for the manufacturer in Ma., and they told me of a casting error in a part. Some filing got it working. They offered a replacement if needed. All ended well.

Smooth Iron Latch Set

Comments:

Bought this for our newly constructed barn that we wanted to look old, pleased with it for the most part, but think it is pricey for what you get...not that heavy or unusual of a latch set, also the inside latch could be a little bigger/longer making it easier to use.

Smooth Iron Spade Rim Latch

Comments:

We had to match existing hardware in a 200 + year old house . This product was extremely close in size, style and function. Time will tell about the durability of the finish.
