Our hardened steel square-cut flooring nails are used for laying tongue-and-groove hardwood flooring (not recommended for face-nailing softwood flooring as the head is too small). These nails have been heat-treated and tempered for special hardness. Rooted in age-old tradition, our period restoration square-cut flooring nails are cut much the same way they were 150 years ago. Great nail for that old look.

Comments:

Used this product on our wide plank pine flooring. We pre drilled the hole so that it reduced cracking. If you are planning on approximate number of nails give yourself some waste. There were a few nails that were unusable. Over all great product.

Perfect ""Look""

Comments:

We needed a nail for the floor (and other areas) that stayed with the home's age. We are restoring (not remodeling) a home built in 1806. These nails fit the bill. Not cheap but when you want the look you pay the price.

Great Cut Nails

Comments:

I used these to nail down a wide pine floor. I only had two or three nails that I couldn't use out of a 5 pound box. They worked great and didn't bend easily. Not only would I buy them again. But I just re-ordered another 5 pounds. Very reasonable price for good quality nails.
