Perfect knob for our historic house.

Comments:

I love all of House of Antique Hardware's offerings! We own a home built in 1846 and I always look to this company when trying to find appropriate hardware for my renovations. I love the beautiful white porcelain on this set; the backplate is not too large so it's perfect for a bathroom door. It's really solid feeling, turns nicely, and feels rich and heavy. I am very happy with my purchase (this is the 6th set of doorknobs/backplates that I've purchased from H of A H!

Solid feel and very functional

Comments:

I love this porcelain doorknob. The backing is a little different that what I had longed to purchase, but the styling is exactly as appears. One minor challenge was matching the finish of the plate with a hinge from the same style and period. There were slight variations that are easily overlooked, but are also noticeable if one is focused. All in all a great product. Not cheap, but worth the price.

Steel and Porcelain doorknobs

Comments:

The first set of doorknobs we received were unable to be installed because the screws didn't fit into the threaded tubes they should have fit into. I wrote to Anique Hardware explaining the proble and they ordered me 3 new sets and personally inspected them to make sure that the screws fit. They also paid for the shipping to return the defective doorknobs. I am a completely satisfied customer. The arched wrought steel rosettes with porcelain doorknobs are perfect for my historic (1850) home.
