Description

This Victorian doorbell button has loads of vintage charm! Made of solid cast brass, it incorporates design elements such as beaded borders and several decorative flourishes. Available in an array of classic finishes, we can't say enough good things about this little number!

Dimensions: 3 1/4" H x 1 1/2" W. Projection: 5/8". Screw hole center-to-center measurement: 1 1/2".

Please note: this electric button is designed to operate a standard door chime located within a home. The chime is not included (available at most home improvement stores) and must be hardwired into the wall.

Hardware Tip

Door Buzzer Button: A decorative button used to replace the one which operates an existing electric doorbell. The buzzer button alone does not make sound it must be wired to a buzzer and transformer.

A distinctive, attractive touch at my door

I enjoy surrounding myself with antiques and authentic reproductions. This doorbell button replaces a 1970 generic button, and I think the lovely design and golden color are a small touch of class beside my front door. Very glad I purchased this door button.

Beautiful little door bell

Better in person

The antique brass color in person is rich and beautiful, has a bit of color variation in the high/low points like naturally aged brass. It is even nicer looking in person

For an 1893 Queen Anne Victorian 'cottage'

We're happy, looks great, works. I purchased despite reviews saying that it didn't contact well; upon close inspection I noticed that the plastic cap containing the contacts screws onto the brass. When installing, be certain to twist it clockwise into the recess hole so that you are not inadvertently unscrewing the cap.
