Description

This 2 3/8-inch backset privacy tubular latch works with antique and reproduction door knobs using a square spindle. The face plate and strike are made of brass and come in 5 vintage finishes. Privacy pin included.

Dimensions: Backset: 2 3/8". Latch Case: 7/8" D x 3 1/4" L. Face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. Strike plate: 2 1/4" H x 1 3/4" W.

Hardware Tip

Tubular Latch: A cylindrical door latch that is installed into the edge of the door and is operated by a knob or lever via the spindle. These are typically used for modern pre-bored doors.

Great Quality Great Fit

Purchased this product with hopes of repurposing some knobs and plates from my previous doors which had mortise locks, product was a good snug fit in my new doors and the opening for the spindle was a good match and accurate to the size specified, looks great works great plan on purchasing more, great for converting old hardware for new doors.
