I have purchased this item again to replace same item
Comments:
Cabin hook is perfect for our need, and we did purchase a second time after first hook failed, because of appropriateness of design. We have relied on shop to provide superior quality items. Perhaps this was a unique fault in this particular hook so we've opted to try once more. It appeared that the core of the first hook that broke, was something other than solid brass. I cannot imagine that this hook would have failed with the type of usage it received, that being that it holds our porch door at a perfect openness for our cat to pass through while preventing our dog from entering porch.
