Description

This non-mortise lock is an excellent choice for new furniture, or as a replacement for a worn or broken lock. Made of durable steel, with an economical brass plating, it is suited for drawers or cabinet doors. The bolt shoots both directions for right or left-handing. Comes complete with one brass-plated keyhole cover and skeleton key.

Dimensions. Lock body: 1 3/4" H x 1" W x 3/8" T. Keyhole: 1" W. Key: 2 3/8" Overall length. Barrel key: 1 1/2" L. Bit: 3/16". Bow: 1". Backset: 5/8".

Hardware Tip

Full mortise fit completely inside the door in a mortise pocket, half mortise fit on the inside of the door in a mortise notch and the back of the lock is exposed. Non mortise are surface mounted.

Antique Brass cabinet lock

Cabinet is an 1874 beveled glass display piece. Unit was used by my Grandmother Petty's mother"" Fanny Petty. Was offered 2000. 00. decided to keep.

Best product and price

After finding a mid 1900's clothes closet in the trash the only thing I needed was a replica door locking mechanism. I couldn't believe that they had an exact match for a price I couldn't believe, I thought for sure it would be a piece of junk. To my surprise it was perfect in every way. Definitely made this site one of my favorites.
