Just what I was looking for

Big enough for an old house.

Comments:

These are big enough to hold the bottoms of my old fashioned storm windows in place at the bottom of the frame.

Convenient fix for my problem

Comments:

My old wooden screen bracket hangers were difficult to remove and I do not have a lot of upper body strength nor do I have great skills. The new hangers I bought to fit my new homemade wooden screens would not fit onto the old hangers. I bought a test bracket from house of antique hardware and put it up myself easy Peezy and it looks fine with the house. The wooden screens are secure again and looks good.

Exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely shop this

love the look

I would buy again however....

Comments:

I live in a historical home and in the process of window restoration. The turns I purchased are a great reproduction of the original vintage turns however the flat head screws that come in the package were a nightmare. When working with small items like the turns they should come with longer phillips screw heads which make installation easier. A longer screw would go deeper into the wood thus holding windows in place better.

Identical

Comments:

I was pleased when seeing that I could purchase the identical part I needed for the restoration of a 100 year old pump reed organ. It's important when doing conservation work to be able to locate parts that are exactly the same as those originally used so that one can maintain the excellence and quality required when restoring an antique. Keep in mind it's important because conservation requires restoring items back to original condition and with these parts purchased I was able to do so.
