Heavy Duty Screen & Storm Window Hanger Set

As an owner of a century old home with a garden shoppe attached, I needed appropriate hooks to secure operable windows to my greenhouse. The Heavy Duty Window Hanger Set was ideal to mount the windows for easy removal in the summer and convenient for replacement of windows for hurricanes and winter protection. The beautiful wrought iron hooks actually make the greenhouse more beautiful rather than detracting from its appearance. I searched unsuccessfully for quite some time before I found these quality items. Words can not describe how satisfied I am with the final results. Amazing!

We batten our remote island cottage in Maine for 9 months of the year to protect it from sea winds, falling trees and casual mischief. Our open porch has always been a problem to close in due to the size of the openings and the vulnerability of the screens they cover--one mistake in guiding the battens into place and we tear the screen or risk losing the batten altogether. These replacement hangers--once an standard hardware item were nowhere to be found until I went searching on the internet and found that you not only had them but you offered choices and at a fair price. We've now replaced the 15 year old hangers with handsome, sturdy new ones and expect the house to say tight and safe for many winter seasons to come.

We had beautiful new windows done - just as they were made in the 1800s - but the contractor used low quality, cheap, ugly silver hangers... they stood out like a sore thumb !! We purchased House of Antiques' black reproductions and it made a world of difference ! Classic elegance !!

This is a hard to find product, that would have been perfect except my window frame was not flush. So the hardware need to be bent, and because it was so stong, it did bend well. However, we had the carpenter who made the screens install them, we would not have been a able to do this ourselves. Just be sure to check if you frame is flush with the screen.

We have installed these on several large storm windows on our 120 year old Victorian home.

This is a very good product. The original hangers were made by a popular hardware company which no longer makes them. Although these are four times the cost, they are made well. I wish they were painted white because that is the more common color. We will paint the ones we ordered.
