Premium Quality Solid Brass Sash Spring Bolt

Many missing or broken pins in our old windows (early 1900s) and was delighted to find merchants with these items. They fit exactly like the original (and work better) and they look just right for the age of the windows and house. Very happy with the item and will consider this site for any other ""old"" house needs!

bought these to replace older sash pins that fell apart once they were removed. while a bit pricey they are much better quality than what was in the sash.

Definitely could use directions for DIYers. But loved how solid this product feels.

I bought 10 of these hoping they were the right item. I've been trying to find these bolts for many years locally without success. I used all 10 in one afternoon replacing 1942 original bolts on the windows in one room of my home. It took an hour to put all 10 in. Straightforward installation; I just took the old bolt out and put the new functioning bolt in. I am now back again to buy several dozen more.....

I have just finished renovating/restoring a two story brick Victorian house with my sons. The House of Antique Hardware products we purchased were in keeping with the period, were of high quality, were available in the finish we desired sand were delivered promptly.

This product desperately requires some installation instructions. I've now damaged two of the three windows in which I intended to install. The bolts function OK, but the install looks like you know what. Even just a simple cut-away view of correct install would have been extremely helpful. As it stands, I'm not likely to buy from these guys again, which is too bad cuz product is great.

Great to still find these antique items. I work at a museum with many antique buildings. House of Antique Hardware is a great source to find these types of original hardware.

BE CAREFUL WHEN DRILLING HOLES IN THE SASH. START WITH A SMALL BIT AND GRADUATE TO THE LARGER ONES. MAKE A HOLE IN THE FRAME A BIT LARGER THAN THE PIN.
