For those of us who own and live in 100-year-old houses, it is good to know where we can purchase an item such as this. They are unavailable at any local or national-brand hardware store AT ANY PRICE! I can think of a couple more double-hung windows in this old farm house which need to be repaired with this product. You'll be hearing from me.

Many missing or broken pins in our old windows (early 1900s) and was delighted to find merchants with these items. They fit exactly like the original (and work better) and they look just right for the age of the windows and house. Very happy with the item and will consider this site for any other ""old"" house needs!

I bought 10 of these hoping they were the right item. I've been trying to find these bolts for many years locally without success. I used all 10 in one afternoon replacing 1942 original bolts on the windows in one room of my home. It took an hour to put all 10 in. Straightforward installation; I just took the old bolt out and put the new functioning bolt in. I am now back again to buy several dozen more.....
