Cast Iron Double-Acorn Coat Hook in Matte Black

I ordered these hooks in the past from House of Antique HW and I loved them. I'm redoing some more areas of the house so I ordered more and found the quality has declined considerably. The finish is not as nice, and the crisp details are now blobby. I had a couple of the old batch left so I pulled them out and put them side by side in the attached pic so you can see. According to the packaging, the old ones were made in Taiwan, the new ones in China.

These double acorn coat hooks fit right in my 1850's cottage/cape style home. They are well made, are a great size and the acorns are really cute. I'm a very happy customer!

Using them on my closet door. And I wanted them to match the rest of the hooks in the house.

I purchased these hooks to make a wall-mounted coat rack, using old oak pallet wood. I am pleased with the hooks, they appear heavy duty and weighty. I am not sure if the screws that came with them will actually do the job. I may have to get some thicker screws. For disclosure, these hooks were produced in China.

I ordered these hooks to go on a coat rack that I'm making for a client from parts of a vintage oak Larkin Desk. They are just what I needed and the perfect size!

We put them on wood boards for my daughters new house for her mud room coat hangers

We have new construction that required 6 coat hooks over a bench in the mud room. The rustic authentic metal worked well.
