Forged from galvanized steel with cast iron pintles, they feature a rough textured, black-powder coating for a perfect period look that helps to reduce rust. Made to last a lifetime, the reversible, lift-off design makes for easy installation and maintenance.

I have bought five pairs of hinges.

I get up to 6 feet of snow piling up from falling off the roof. I needed to build a pair of very sold shutters to help protect from snow and ice during the winter. The hinges were easy to install and are very sturdy. And they look very stylish.
Perfect and durable Shutter strap hinges

I tried many different products and finally found the perfect hinge that will allow my shutters to actually close. I live in Florida and want my shutters to double as hurricane protection. I ordered 5 different hinges until I found this product. It is very heavy weight and is excellently constructed.
