Pair of Fluted Crystal Door Knobs With Solid Brass Base

These knobs work perfect with the back plates also sold by House of Antique Hardware.

The product arrived with the finish chipped/scratched on some knob bases. Otherwise they seem well made and beautiful. Unfortunately, they do not fit my doors because the knobs do not allow the spindle to go in far enough so it seems like the 3 1/2"" spindle is 1/2"" too long. My previous knobs that I'm replacing had about a 1/2"" where the spindle could go into the actual Crystal knob so it wasn't an issue. My door is 1 1/12 inches thick and I'm using the existing long plate.

My wife and I own 4 properties. All of them have old fluted glass doorknobs, many of which could use replacement. I tried buying cheap replacements, but the only ones I could find are poor quality and often fell apart under normal usage (literally!). These doorknobs are very high quality and very well made. I especially like the Allen-head setscrews, much better than the typical Phillips setscrews. The price of these doorknobs is high but the quality is excellent.

I used these to replace doorknob of bathroom on my 100 year old house. They look like they belong. I have a mix of original and new glass knobs throughout the house. These look and feel as nice as the original ones.
