These knobs are beautiful! My client has a 1939 house with beautiful original doors and art deco hardware, but the knobs were all mismatched throughout the years. I found these beautiful crystal knobs to replace on 9 doors and they look incredible. I LOVE this web site for all the old replacement hardware that can be very difficult to find. The HOAH service can't be beat! If you have a question, call them and they go out of their way to help you find an answer. I ordered all three of the octagonal door knobs- the leaded crystal, the glass reproductions and these. All three looked very much the same and were equally lovely. I think that the leaded crystal had the best cool ""feel"" and prism, but with small children in the house, I couldn't justify the presence of lead when there were lead free options, even though it is highly unlikely to be a hazard in this form from what I have read. I really had a hard time deciphering a difference between the two lead free options- I decided that this crystal version had a slightly cooler touch, so I went with it. Honestly though, I would have been happy with any one of these options. They are beauties! I actually just came back to order some more! And I really can't say enough about how wonderful Yvette was in working through my questions and researching things like prism cast. She was so so helpful. Thank you, HOAH! You never disappoint!

Price is a little ouchy but you get what you pay for and this product does not disappoint.

It is hard to find door knobs that match the style of those in our older home and even harder to find them at a reasonable price. Two for two!

The old (original?) door knobs were not staying together, and these are a fantastic replacement. They work great, were easy to install, and fit in our original 100 year old doors. Beautiful and sturdy, these will last and fit right in with the other knobs in the house.
