Set Of Tacks Numbered 1-25 For Wooden Screens And Storm Windows

We have just begun restoration of approximately 40 original 1938 wood storm windows. We not only needed numbered tacks to keep them all straight, but also to replace original tacks that had been painted over and were worn. These new tacks are quite possibly better than the orignal.

I looked for weeks for numbers to label my photos in an exhibition I was giving. Finally I found these numbers, which were perfect. They actually added to the appearance of the photos, were easy to use and easy to read.

Great Product that is hard to find anywhere else based on my searching. The finish is terrific, we've not seen them weather yet but I think they will be very functional. Would be nice to have a paired set that came with two sets of 12 for example vs. 1 set of 25, as we don't have 25 windows. Over-all great experience, would have given 5 but the cost stopped me.

The storm window tacks were just as described and came in reproduction retro packaging. I have removable panels for my porch (to make it enclosed or open) and they work great.

Great item for those who still have wood storm and screen sash. Particularly good for maintaining proper placement when repairing, painting etc.

We repair wood screen professionally. Great way to keep track of screens. Install one tack on the house sill and the same number on the screen. Matching set. Recommend drilling a small pilot hole first before tapping them in. Also do not try to removing them because the point that holds them in will break off. House of Antique Hardware is are go to place for these tacks.

It was great to find these even though I would have preferred brass. Still as an owner of an old house who wishs to keep the ""old"" look and style, it is great to have a company like this who will supply these products.

Turn of the century A&Cs Bungalow. Windows were once the same, but through the years each now varies. Have screen & storm windows, with the numbered tacks no problem knowing where each goes when switching them out.
