Used to replace strike plate which was modified by locksmith to work with cheap foreign made mortise lock. This strike plate was correct for a 100+ year old Corbin mortise lock that was reinstalled on the door to maintain original function and appearance.

This part represents one of the most difficult to find item with original locks. Locks salvaged habitually are without the strike plate. It's design is an excellent universal fit for vintage locksets.

Based upon original lockset, this strike plate was a perfect match. I was going crazy thinking I would not be able get a replacement plate. I'm in the process of restoring my 120 year old Queen Anne Variant Victorian home in Jersey City.
