Heart Design Mechanical Door Bell In Solid Brass

Loved the look and price of this doorbell. Exactly what I wanted for my new house. But I will be returning it as it wont work on my fiberglass door. They will only work on wood doors. So disappointed. Did not state that anywhere on the web site or I would not have purchased.

Recently bought a 1922 house that had something similar installed but was broken. Turns out it was made in Taiwan and had cheap gears. Bought this one and turned out to be much better quality! Now everyone rings this bell when they come over!!

Trying to bring home back to how it was when I was little. I just loved ringing this type of doorbell; it even sounds the same. Ring-ling ring-ling.

The Tradesman's Bell I received was exactly what I expected.

Works especially well on a solid steel door which transmits the vibrations throughout the entire house. Very loud when mounted on steel. More subdued when mounted to a heavy wood door.
