Almost a perfect product

Comments:

I recycled the original 80-year-old wood cabinets in a beach cottage I'm renovating. I ordered these latches since they are the same style as the originals. The ""tongue"" is a bit short on these so you don't get a solid close. I fitted them as close to the edge of the cabinet door as possible and they do close, but just barely. However, for the price, they're good quality, look great and I would definitely order them again for a similar project.

As needed

Building a cabinet in 1932 home

Best latches for the cost.

Comments:

These latches give our kithen an authentic look without having to mortage the house to maintain the feel and style of a 100 year old farmhouse.

Cabinet Catch

Comments:

I had checked several big chain stores for this item and no one had. Okay than being a tiny bit wider than the original it fit perfectly

CHEAP AND NASTY!!

Comments:

THESE DO NOT WORK. TAKES MANY TRIES TO GET LATCH TO OPEN . SO POORLY MADE THAT YOUR FINGERS HURT WHEN YOU FINALLY GET THE LATCH TO OPEN. THESE LATCHES ARE JUNK!

Chinese Made

Comments:

I sprayed these with lacquer, and they still rusted within a year.

Classy jewelry for my old house

Comments:

I used this in a built in restoration project. Looks proper. Works correctly. I'm happy.

Fit the job (and the holes) perfectly.

Comments:

We were replacing existing brass latches on our many interior (hinged) kitchen window screens. Though the old latches looked to be original, the brass did not go with the nickel kitchen hardware. Because there were so many (it's a BIG 1928 ""industial"" kitchen) we were looking for good value and good price. These pressed steel versions suited the job very well, but if we used them on a more regular basis, I would suggest going with the next grade up (cast brass). For us, these are perfect and had the exact same hole placement as the previous ones. SCORE!

Good latch at a good price.

Comments:

Latch works well and seems to be better quality at a better price than some others I've used in the past.

Great updated latch

Comments:

Nice shiny finish. Great update to some old cabinets we have. Great value.
