Solid Brass Scroll Keyhole Cover

Purchased several to replace damaged covers on doors in an old house.

I purchased these to compliment my crystal door knob collars. This little detail draws the eye to the door knob collars and completes the look of the doors in our 1930's home. Little by little the gracefulness of the house is returning.

This product looks spectacular on dark wood and whit painted wood! I purchased the key hole with an antique finish and it looks amazing everywhere.

Beautiful detail and match for the period pattern, but wish it had been available in iron to match hinges and other original door hardware throughout the house. The screws accompanying the escutcheon are a bit too long to work with a mortice lock, so had to supply some shorter ones. Otherwise, a nice little piece of detail.

I recently was able to find a door very close to the original door of my victorian cottage. I was able to purchase mostly antique hardware (luckily the glass in the door is original); what I could not find was an original keyhole cover (or at any rate, one that was usable). But, after having purchased and installed this reproduction, it looks right at home. This item has been so well manufactured that it is Indistinguishable from the original hardware of the rest of the door.
