Since the turn of the last century, this classic Craftsman-style door plate has been a perennial favorite. Designed for use on the exterior side of a door, it includes a knob collar and cylinder hole suited for entry mortise locks. How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.
