I use cut glass or crystal items in my apothecary jars so why not the same materials in knobs and pulls! I bought these b/c the cheaper ones I had purchased broke. These are different lengths- so on some drawers they fit flush and on the others- they are loose and have room to wiggle. In addition, the first time my husband opened the drawer, the glass knob fell off. This was the same issue we had with the cheaper ones we used in another room. The glass knob detaches from the base. So they are not worth the extra money!

I restored an antique veneered keyhole dresser that had wooden knobs and was in fair condition. The dresser originally had a light colored stain that lacked luster and vibrance. I stained it with layers of mahogany and espresso. I used a satin top coat. The dresser came out beautiful but it was lacking something extra special. The dresser needed beautiful, elegant, timeless knobs. I chose the medium octagonal crystal knob because they are a little more on the dressy side without being too over the top.
