Large Hexagonal Glass Cabinet Knob With Nickel Bolt

The color was perfect.

I bought the ruby red knobs for my closet doors. I did have to go get longer screws to attach them but other then that they look awesome.

I used these as drawer pulls on a dresser made out of reclaimed wood. I'm using the dresser as a vanity in my bathroom. It's a Victorian house. I think the clear crystal looks good with the mahogany woodwork and marble vanity top. Its a classic-looking style, although it may be post-Victorian. The drawer pulls that were originally on the dresser were 1 1/2"" diameter so I needed this larger size to cover where the original drawer pulls were.

These are beautiful knobs. They are sturdy, well made, and luckily an exact match to what the previous owners of my home put on the kitchen cabinets. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. But, do yourself a favor. Buy the ferrule kit here on House of Antique Hardware. They previous owners of my home used the provided screw and nut. They then cut the screw on all the cabinets and drawers to be able to shut them. (That screw end sticking out left dents/gouges in all the cabinet frames from repeatedly slamming into the cabinet face everyday). Over time, I saw the clear glass knobs were both dirty inside and behind the knob, but I never could remove the knob because the nut was stuck. Apparently, when the previous owners cut the screw, they either left burrs or mashed the screw threads so that I could not remove the nuts. After a couple of knobs started breaking from the inside, I decided I needed to tackle the project. It took over 3 hours for me and my husband to remove every stuck nut, and replace the knobs using the ferrule kit. (If you had some sort of slim, cutting tool like a dremel, this would have been easier, but we don't own one). At one point, we had to actually break the old glass knob with a hammer so what we could cut the screw with bolt cutters. So, these are beautiful knobs. Any of the transparent colors will get dirt behind/inside them that you can see through the clear glass. Make your life (the the lives of the next owners of your house) easier, and get the ferrule kit. Also, the flat screw of the ferrule kit leaves more room in your drawers when you do not have that sharp screw end sticking out.

I ordered several different colors and was pleased with all. Knobs are larger than I expected for the price and are wonderful!

We are replacing cabinet knobs because we are moving and want the custom knobs to go with us. These knobs are beautiful. Wish they were US made but.....! We did have a problem because our drawers were too thick for the screw they sent. We worked it out by drilling a hole so the screw would fit. Really think our drawers are thicker than the average drawer. But something to consider if you aren't someone that has the tools to make it work.
