These shades are beautiful. They are very authentic looking for arts and crafts aged light fixtures. The problem is that they didn't work with the pendant lights I bought them for. I could have send them back, but I loved them so much i decided to keep them and use them for different pendant lights. I had to buy an adapter to fit over the socket threads that could screw in the shades. The problem is that the top opening is super narrow. No shade rings will work to hold this in place, hence the adapters. It's hard to find adapters that will work with modern pendant lights. When I finally got the adapter up and the shades attached, modern standard light bulbs would not fit. So I had to order the tear dropped shaped vintage Edison bulbs with a narrow neck. I work with old houses and own one, so I'm used to serious hassles when I'm restoring them. There is no easy fit to most jobs.
