Arts & Crafts Pyramid Shade with 2 1/4" Fitter

Wanted to replace more ornate shades for a more modern look that still has a vintage feel.

This shade will be used to replace a ""remuddled"" original fixture that the shade had been lost for.

An original pendant light fixture in our historic Arts & Crafts home had victorian style glass replacement shades -they were beautiful but incongruent with the fixture & home design. The new pyramid style shades suit the fixture design perfectly so it now complements our home. I would have preferred another shade show on the website; it was the same style/shape but with glossy edges and an etched pattern on the sides. I was disappointed it had been discontinued.

The quality of the product was very good, unfortunately the shades did not fit my light fixtures. The collar at the top of the shade was too shallow for the holding screws on the fixtures to make contact and hold the shade in place.

I was able to take many beautiful mission brass fixtures that had ribbed homophone shade with ruffled edges and replace the shades with the the simpler shades to make them work in our new home.

We purchased two of these shades to replace some hanging lights in our built in sideboard in the dining room. Our home is Arts and Crafts and these shades fit the bill. They are well made and were quite simple to install.

We have a 1907 Mission/Arts&Crafts home with a beautiful living room with quartersawn oak wainscoting and a box beam ceiling. The previous owners had put hideous ruffled-edge shades on the main chandelier, which were out of character with the room and with the chandelier fixture itself. We bought these shades to replace the ones on the chandelier and for two new sconces in the same room (the ""Mission Style Single Wall Sconce in Antique Brass). They arrived in perfect condition, feel nice and heavy, and fit the room perfectly. So glad we finally made the change!
